Rachel Evans, founder of The Education Hub, said: “Parents and students are invited to call in and meet our friendly team of teacher tutors, who are offering expert support to GCSE and A-Level students.

“Not only do we provide the traditional subject support in the form of small group sessions, we also offer personalised one-to-one support in managing anxiety and exam stress, plus organisation and time management skills with trained education mentors. In addition we offer support for university applications with mock interviews and help with personal statements as well as information evenings for parents and their sons and daughters.

“We hope to provide a wide range of personalised support services to help young people with both the academic and personal pressures of student life.”

Rachel, a former A-Level psychology teacher and education mentor from Ecclesall with nearly 20 years experience in the field, launched The Education Hub in March last year after noticing a growing need for a more personalised approach for students when it came to their studies.

Since then she has been able to grow a team of highly qualified teachers and tutors, who use both relevant exam board materials as well as their own study skills resources both during study sessions and one-to-one tuition.
