McAuley Catholic High School Doncaster has announced that from tomorrow it will only remain open to Year 11 and 13 students, who are due to sit GCSE and A-Level exams this summer.

In a statement the school said: “Due to the impact of the Government’s announcement on self isolation, from tomorrow we have no option but to enforce a partial closure.

“Therefore, the school will only be open to Year 11 and 13 students until further notice.

“This is an unprecedented situation and we are working hard to ensure that resources and work is set for all year groups.

“Regular updates on the situation will be sent by email, text and posted on social media. Please bear with us at this challenging time for all.”

Yesterday the Government encouraged social distancing in a bid to slow the spread of the virus.
