Doncaster Kingfisher primary school wins 'good' rating from Ofsted

Kingfisher Primary Academy in Doncaster is celebrating a ‘good’ judgement from Ofsted.

Ofsted inspectors said that teachers and pupils at the Wheatley school, part of Astrea Academy Trust, have good relationships, “classrooms are busy and productive”, pupils enjoy reading and feel happy and safe. Teachers are well prepared and pupils develop “well-rounded opinions about the modern world.”

Principal Catherine Skinn praised the “dedication, hard work and professionalism of all the staff and the commitment of our pupils and their families.
