One Yorkshire based housebuilder has had another bumper year supporting an amazing charity as part of its annual fundraising strategy. Miller Homes once again chose Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity as its charity for 2025 and the team has raised over £15,000!

“Our team has been amazing once again and wholeheartedly supported all the events we have hosted and enjoyed,” said Justin Tranmere, managing director, Miller Homes Yorkshire. “Thanks to Rhianna too, our charity champion in the team, for organising everything and getting us all involved, and for being recognised by the charity earlier this year for her efforts as our corporate partnership lead.”

During the year, the team has enjoyed dress down days, a tuck shop in the office, Valentine’s hamper and bake sale, Yorkshire Day bake sale, Easter hamper, Active April (where staff members are awarded a £1 for every mile they walk during the month), a Golf Day, Halloween bake sale, Padel tournament and a festive hamper and raffle to end the year.

Since 2023, the housebuilder has raised around £30,000 for the charity, supporting the thousands of patients and families at Sheffield Children’s. From the newly built £6million helipad to research and innovation projects such as the National Centre for Child Health Technology (NCCHT), Miller Homes’ contribution helps Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity deliver over and above NHS provision.

Supporting local communities and charities is a big part of Miller Homes in Yorkshire and it is proud to have donated a further £10,000 to projects in these communities during 2025 as part of its twice-yearly Community Fund.

Miller Homes currently has eight developments across the Yorkshire region offering a selection of two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom homes.
