Thousands of people filled out the city centre this morning (March 29), cheering on the over 6,000 runners who braved Sheffield’s cold weather and steep hills to take on the annual half marathon.
Starting at Arundel Gate, the 13-mile route took participants up into the peaks, then down Ecclesall Road and back into the city centre.
The final leg sees runners get a small adrenaline boost, as cheering crowds push them through to the finish line.
Everyone who finished was given a goody bag and medal, and got to proudly show off their achievements.
