He's made his name as The Beast on TV’s The Chase – but celebrity Sheffield United fan Mark Labbett might soon have to come up with a new nickname after shedding a whopping five stones.

The quiz show favourite revealed his stunning new slimline look on social media – and announced he was ‘very proud’ of his transformation.

Mark, one of the chasers on the popular ITV show, has been keeping his fans updated with his weight loss during the coronavirus shutdown.

In his latest update, he shared an old photo of himself alongside a new pic, showing his baggy trousers around his waist.

Crediting online meal delivery service Muscle Foods for his loss, he wrote on Instagram: “Very proud of my progress since following my @mfgoalgettersuk plan.Every week food delivered to my door, it couldn’t be any easier!”

The 6ft 6in quiz guru, who is 55, has previously vowed to become the ‘skinniest Chaser’ and was a regular at Bramall Lane before lockdown.
