"Can you tell the difference?" Fake gun seized from South Yorkshire schoolboy
Police have revealed they have seized this realistic looking gun from a schoolboy in South Yorkshire.
Rotherham South Neighbourhood Policing Team posted the image on Twitter and urged the public: “Could you tell the difference?"
The firearm is actually a pellet gun and was seized from a house in Maltby.
A spokesman said: “This is a pellet gun.
"This was recovered from a secondary school age boy following sharing information and intelligence with partner agencies.
"Please report and we can act to safeguard future victims.”
