Three young people have got their careers on track after being selected to join apprenticeship schemes with building firm Kier in Barnsley.
The company works with Barnsley Council and Berneslai Homes to maintain 6,500 homes in the borough.
The apprentices are working and training in a variety of trades and will be full-time employees of Kier.
They will be given on-site experience, attending training at Barnsley College and will move around the business to gain experience while working towards the full apprenticeship framework in their chosen trade.
The firm employs five apprentices and three adult trainees in Barnsley, who will become joiners, maintenance operatives and plumbers.
