Where there’s a will there’s a way to support dementia charity Lost Chord.

The South Yorkshire charity that provides interactive musical sessions for people with dementia has teamed up with Sheffield solicitors HLW Keeble Hawson for a special Will Week.

From June 16 to 20 the company will be offering mirrored wills for £100 plus VAT – a saving of £150 – and single wills for £50 plus VAT.

The only criteria is that the person making the will should leave a legacy, monetary gift or item from their estate to Lost Chord.

“Leaving a gift to Lost Chord means we can continue to reach out to more people with dementia for years to come, transforming lives through interactive music, song and dance, stimulating their well being and raising their self- esteem,” said Lost Chord Chief Executive Helena Muller.

“These gifts are taken out of an estate before any inheritance tax is worked out so there may be time when this type of gift could substantially reduce the tax an estate pays.”
