“The last six years have been an absolute blast though. We have made friends for life, made so many memories, and of course, served so so many pies in so many wonderful settings. THANK YOU SO MUCH to everyone who has made this journey happen. For every single pie bought, served, made, talked, booked, delivered, for everything, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.”

The firm was founded in 2014 with Jack serving its first pie at The Hide in Scotland Street.

Liana Barker said: “Such sad news Jack, I’m devastated for you. You were such a highlight at our wedding and I still to this day talk about your pies. Hopefully this isn’t the end for Pie Eyed, just a little blip. I really truly hope you come back soon.”

Bali Maman said: “Am truly sorry to hear this Jack. You are great at what you do and an absolute success story for Sheffield as well as the industry. I consider this a blip and cannot wait to see what you put your mind and brilliant skills to next - necessity is the mother of all invention.”
