Want a Christmas turkey? This South Yorkshire firm will let you pre-order and deliver it

Fitzwilliam Fine Foods (FFF) deliver throughout Derbyshire, Yorkshire and surrounding areas.

FFF began by delivering the range of quality meats, pastries and other fine foods from Hoyland-based Parkside Farm Shop.

Following customer demand, they very quickly expanded into providing fresh fish from Whitby, quality organic vegetables and locally-made household staple products.

Frustrated by enduring long queues for quality food, and unable to secure reasonable delivery dates from local supermarkets, Rotherham-based headhunter Matt Foster created the next-day delivery business and has seen it explode in popularity.

“Despite the incredibly enthusiastic response by the public, we have maintained and will continue to maintain our free of charge next-day delivery service, no matter how stringent lockdown measures may become across South Yorkshire,” said Matt.

“Our customers are continually suggesting new product lines for us to stock, and as long as it fits our ethos of the highest quality in its bracket, we are happy to add them to the range.”

“We are very conscious that we are providing an essential service to the local community that the big boys simply cannot.

"That’s why, as well as next-day delivery being free of charge, there is also no minimum order value. Sometimes you just need a pint of milk, or the warm hug of a Parkside black pudding hog back!”

Matt continud: "We also want to help other local businesses and would love to hear from Unique, local sellers. Our ethos is the highest quality, local produce.

"We would like to include other local businesses as distributors, right now we all need to work together more than ever."

"We are also aware of the fact that Christmas is coming and want people to know that they can pay a deposit via our website to avoid any future panic buying. People can pre-order their turkeys. Their Christmas produce will come straight to their door.”

In the first two months of operation, Fitzwilliam Fine Foods are already enjoying over 50% of orders coming from returning customers.
