Two Sheffield City Region companies have joined forces to supply leading edge site management, safety and security systems for a new gas storage facility in Northern Germany.
CSE Controls, part of Eckington-based CSE-Global (UK), and Rotherham-based Reflex teamed up to secure the contract for the site at Wittmund, which uses underground caverns to store natural gas.
CSE provided site safety and control expertise, while Reflex looked after video, alarm and access control aspects of the project.
Reflex supplied security and perimeter protection cameras and the latest video analytics software, capable of identifying events prompting an alarm.
It also supplied specialist fire detection cameras, high performance video and access control systems which could be integrated into site safety software.
The two companies worked closely together to develop new integration software to allow seamless operation, control and monitoring.
