Exceptional entrepreneurs from Sheffield University travelled to China to take part in a global challenge for companies determined to make the world a better place.

The team reached the semi-finals of the Enactus World Cup, qualifying after winning the UK championship for their project to help 150 disadvantaged people transform their lives.

They pitched to the judges details of their international scheme to provide clean water and soap to rural villages in Zambia, with a percentage of their profits helping clinics offer life-saving medicine.

They also described how students work with homeless people to create a jam-making business, enabling people living on the streets to gain a track record of work experience.
