Sheffield company Coda Studios has been named one of Britain’s top three architectural practices at the Builder and Engineer Awards.
The company, which recently celebrated its 10th birthday with a move to new headquarters in Sheffield’s historic Cornish Place, was in the final three for the Architect of the Year Award.
“We were the only Yorkshire practice to make it through to the final three and we were competing against some of the biggest names in the industry,” said Coda managing director David Cross.
“We may not have taken the top prize but to be in the final three is an enormous achievement and something we are incredibly proud of, especially during this anniversary year.
“There is some great architectural design work being created outside of the capital and we are delighted that the awards recognised the contribution we are making in this field.”
