Rail staff at Sheffield to London operator East Midlands Trains have announced they will be working to rule in a dispute over the impact of engineering works.
The RMT union is unhappy with proposed measures over the coming month from Saturday, July 20, when services on the line face alterations as Nottingham Station is shut for engineering work.
Members of the RMT, which represents train crew and customer hosts, voted in favour of industrial action short of a strike.
Staff across the network have decided not to work any overtime or rest days and to only work agreed rostered hours and rostered duties.
Most London services from Sheffield are not affected by the Nottingham works – but work to rule could impact on staff availability across the company.
