Footballers had their valuables, including a car, stolen when thieves raided their changing rooms.

The players had left their belongings in the changing rooms at the Bole Hill Recreation Ground, Northfield Avenue, Crookes, ahead of a game.

But while the match was being played thieves broke into the changing rooms and stole valuables belonging to nine players.

Cash, phones, wallets and keys were taken, along with a vehicle parked nearby, which has since been recovered.

The suspects are all white, skinny, and aged between 16 and 19 years old.

One was around 5ft 5ins tall and wearing a grey jumper, black body warmer, dark blue jeans and a white Chicago Bulls cap. Another was the same height and wearing a blue jumper, light blue tracksuit bottoms and a black hat.

The third was 5ft 9ins to 5ft 11ins tall with short mousy hair, and was wearing jeans and a black coat with a pink mark on the side.

The thefts happened on Sunday, October 27.
