Panel Systems and Prospec have worked together to supply lockers and cubicles for the changing rooms at Rotherham United’s New York Stadium.

Sheffield-based Panel Systems fabricated 120 cubicles and more than 60 lockers for the players’ home and away changing rooms, as well as visitor WC facilities, while Rotherham-based Prospec installed them.

Prospec’s operations director, Mark Spicer, said: “It was really exciting to work with Rotherham Utd FC, as being a local company, many of our staff are keen supporters of the club and it’s fantastic to have such a great representation of our work right here on our doorstep.”

Karl Dobson, site manager for GMI Construction, the main contractor for the new stadium, said: “It was important that the lockers and cubicles shared the same high specification as the rest of the build.

“We needed them to be robust, but also to look good too. Prospec’s team worked hard to ensure they could be supplied and installed well in time for the opening and we are delighted with the overall look and feel of the changing rooms.”
