A tattooist hopes to open a new studio in a listed building.

Trey Burnside, of Vaudeville Tattoo Co Ltd, wants to move her business to the building in Holme Lane, Hillsborough.

The building is Grade II-listed, so listed building consent is required for a change of use.

According to the plans, the company has operated ‘very successfully’ in Walkley for a number of years, with many clients from Hillsborough.

The application adds: “We have outgrown our current studio and feel this would be an ideal base for a growing business.

“There will be absolutely no structural alterations to the building neither externally nor internally. We would also be far more easily accessible to new and existing clients as there are direct transportation links from the city centre and beyond.”
