Stamp of approval

Precision engineer CA Grant has become the latest company to secure approval to use the "Made In Sheffield" mark.

The Orgreave Crescent firm produces marking dies, stamps and associated tooling for a range of industries, including automotive, aerospace, cable making, cigarette manufacturing, defence, general engineering and manufacturing.

The company, which celebrates its 60th birthday next year, also makes machined components, fixtures and tooling.

In order to gain permission to use the Made in Sheffield mark, companies have to demonstrate they are based in the Sheffield postcode district, make most of their products in that area and are committed to producing high quality products.
