Sheffield International Venues chief executive Steve Brailey was plunged in at the deep end at his annual employee awards evening.

Steve was among a group of bosses from the firm, which runs sports facilities around the city, who dived off the high boards at Ponds Forge International Sports Centre to entertain guests at a staff event to celebrate a successful year in business.

The group included City Hall manager Richard Hunter, events general manager Dominic Stokes, business development director Sean Nolan and former Premiership football referee Uriah Rennie.

All had received intensive training from top class coaches at the City of Sheffield Diving Club.

Olympic diving silver medallist Leon Taylor provided a commentary. A raffle raised £1,800 for the diving club.
