SME confidence at a record low

The confidence of Britain’s small and medium-sized importers and exporters has fallen to near record lows, according to the latest Western Union Business Solutions International Trade Monitor.

The study, carried out for the international payments and foreign exchange specialist by TNS research, found the fall in SME confidence was principally due to Eurozone instability over the summer months.
