A new state of the art training centre for the rising stars of England’s basketball teams has opened in Sheffield.

Basketball England, the sport’s governing body, has moved its offices to the facility which is part of the English Institute of Sport complex in Attercliffe.

The body has participated in international basketball for over 60 years and is a proud and committed member of FIBA Europe.

At any given point in time, England is represented by as many as ten national basketball teams from U16, U18 and U20 through to the full senior squads.

Local sign makers Signs Express Sheffield added the finishing touches with signage across all areas of the centre, with a logo comprising of the strapline ‘BE inspired’ used below two red lion heads.

Company owner Steve Morris said: “This was a great project to work on and we are delighted with the finished results. The contrasting vinyl against plain walls works brilliantly and the whole facility is a great addition to Sheffield.

“The logo lends itself perfectly to 3D recreation so we were very happy to provide this as an option for the reception signage. Providing the right first impression to visitors is essential and helps create the right atmosphere.”
