A SUPERMARKET has re-opened after a refit following a takeover.
The former Netto store in Armthorpe is trading again after re-opening this week as a Morrisons.
The 50 staff have transferred to the company.
The re-opening is three weeks after Morrisons took possession of the property.
Crowds of shoppers gathered to watch the new store general manager, Kevin Smith and Freda Crompton, from Save the Children charity, open the store.
Mr Smith said: “I was overwhelmed by the number of customers that gathered for the opening of the store and the amount of support and positive comments we have been given.
“It’s brilliant to see that our great value and our quality fresh food has been so well received.”
