Sheffield shopping centre to go under the hammer - with a guide price of £2.25 milion

Sheffield’s Hillsborough Exchange Shopping Centre is to be sold at auction with a guide price of £2.25m.

The centre on Middlewood Road has 27 units and four kiosks, tenants include Boots, Superdrug, Wilko, Home Bargains, Holland & Barrett and Specsavers. It produces gross annual income of £823,379.

It was originally built in 1988 and comprises a covered scheme with pedestrian access from Middlewood Road and Bradfield Road.

Peter Mayo of Acuitus said it was 98 per cent let. The auction is on March 25.
