Sheffield’s former Revolution bar hits the market after shock closure
A well-known Sheffield bar that shut down earlier this year is now back on the market, offering a new opportunity in one of the city’s busiest nightlife spots.
Leisure property firm Fleurets is advertising the former Revolution bar in the West One complex, on the corner of West Street and Division Street.
The venue, originally developed as a Revolution Vodka Bar, extends to approximately 10,230 sq ft and is fully fitted, meaning a new operator could move in without starting from scratch.

The rent is set at around £135,000 a year, on a new lease.
Situated between Sheffield city centre and its university campuses, the bar sits at the heart of a well-established late-night circuit, alongside operators including Brewski, The Forum, Cosy Joes and Akbars.
Inside, the bar is spread over several levels. It includes a main ground floor bar, a separate “hidden” bar area and a mezzanine level that looks down over the main space.
There is also a kitchen and other backroom facilities already in place.
Simon Hall, director and head of agency north at Fleurets, said: “This unit was originally developed as a Revolution Vodka Bar and has been fitted to a high standard.
“While the operation has now closed, the size and prime leisure location present a significant opportunity for the right operator or concept.”
The listing follows the unexpected closure of the Revolution bar in January, which was part of a wider collapse affecting multiple sites across the UK.
The shutdown formed part of a restructuring process by parent company The Revel Collective, after the business faced mounting cost pressures and declining consumer spending.
Despite the closure, the prominent location and scale of the Sheffield site are expected to attract interest from operators looking to establish a presence in the city’s busy nightlife scene.
