Boohoo Group sells Sheffield Pretty Little Thing warehouse to Primark in £90m deal
Primark has its sights set on Sheffield as a base of operations
Primark has bought the lease to a Pretty Little Thing warehouse in Sheffield in a £90m deal.
The owner of Primark announced plans this week to launch home delivery in Great Britain, beginning with a new warehouse in Sheffield.

Now, Boohoo Group, the online retailer which trades as Debenhams and is also behind Karen Millen, boohoo, and Pretty Little Thing, has sold a distribution centre in Shepcote Lane to Primark Stores.
As well as setting up Primark’s home delivery ambitions, the move also fills in an substantial debt held by Boohoo and reduces what they owe to a “negligible level”.
Dan Finley, group chief executive, said: "The Debenhams Group turnaround continues at pace, and this transaction helps accelerate our progress.”
Associated British Foods (ABF) said it had bought space in Sheffield to support its plans, but did not specify a start date.
