A Sheffield law firm is continuing its rapid expansion with the addition of a new clinical negligence solicitor.
Hlw Keeble Hawson has taken on Natalie Cosgrove just weeks after the same clinical negligence team was boosted with two new members, following the expansion of the firm’s Sheffield and Doncaster offices with the appointment of four newly-qualified solicitors.
Natalie has more than three years’ experience in the field of clinical negligence and is also current deputy vice president of the Sheffield Law Society.
She joins the firm from Sheffield-based Medical Solicitors.
Natalie, who will become the President of the Sheffield Law Society in April 2016, said: “hlw Keeble Hawson is a well-respected firm within the region, and I am pleased to have the opportunity to further my career in the firm’s clinical negligence team.”
The team handles catastrophic injury cases with particular strengths in birth injury and delayed or late diagnosis.
Other areas of expertise include anaesthetic accidents, surgical incidents and strokes.
The head of the clinical negligence team, partner Janet Baker, said: “The clinical negligence team has a reputation for offering first class expertise and Natalie’s appointment further demonstrates not only the growth of the team, but the strength of the firm’s performance overall.”
