The Quality Sheffield North Hotel in Chapeltown, formerly known as Staindrop Lodge, is being marketed by Lambert Smith Hampton.

The 37-bedroom hotel on Lane End, which is still trading, includes Toms Bar, which the sales brochure says is well used by the local community as well as guests, and the 1806 Brasserie Restaurant.

It is described as a profitable business, which is a popular location for conferences, parties and weddings, and has an annual turnover of just over £1.3m.

The venue is currently operated under the Choice Hotels, Quality brand.

Hotels will be allowed to stay open during the new four-week national lockdown, which is set to begin on Thursday, but only for guests who have to travel for work purposes and for a limited number of other exemptions which will be set out in law.
