S20 Physique, established by sports therapist Frank Dack, and his son Ryan, in 2016, has become the first in the UK to offer Molecular Bio-Physical Stimulation (MBST) therapy.

MBST stimulates tissue healing, cell regeneration and pain control using non-invasive technology and can rapidly speed up the healing process of sporting injuries.

As well as its effectiveness in treating injuries, when used to treat degenerative conditions, it can offer a life-altering reduction in pain of up to 70 per cent.

Frank has partnered with ex-professional footballer Ian Andrews of Oakwood Physiotherapy to launch ‘Oakwood Physiotherapy & MBST @ S20 Physique’.

The clinic will use the new technology, in conjunction with existing physiotherapy treatments and rehabilitation coaches, to treat sports injuries and musculoskeletal conditions such as osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, spinal degeneration, cartilage damage and other injuries.

Frank, whose many years as a sports therapist has included treating and preventing injuries behind the scenes at competitions like World’s Strongest Man, said: “Both my son and I have had spectacular results with MBST therapy. Having treated sporting injuries throughout my career and as a personal success story, I wanted to offer this fantastic therapy alongside existing treatments and the award-winning facilities we already have at S20 Physique.”

Ian Andrews said: “We are extremely proud to be launching our new clinic with this pioneering, transformational piece of kit, and changing the lives of those who are suffering with injury or musculoskeletal issues.”

Liz Clare, MD of Cell Regeneration, the only UK providers of MBST machines said: “We are just thrilled to be working with S20 Physique. Not only are they the first gym to incorporate an MBST machine, but they are the first clinic up North – hopefully of many.”

The gym is home to sporting heroes such as ex-Cruiserweight World Champion boxer, and current Sky Sports presenter Johnny Nelson, who credits MBST with reducing his back pain in only two days, describing it as “absolutely mind blowing”.
