A Sheffield city centre hotel has been saved from administration and all 16 staff will keep their jobs as a result.

The three star 45 bedroom Cutlers Hotel on George Street has been bought by Saxon Hotels, owned by former BBC director general Greg Dyke.

The hotel went into administration in September and there have since been approaches from 14 separate companies over its sale.

Saxon already owns Mosborough Hall and Whirlowbrook Hall.
