Sheffield Cathedral is among three city buildings in the running for property awards following its multi-million pound redevelopment.
It has made it on to the shortlist of the 2015 RICS Pro Yorkshire Awards in the Building Conservation category.
The cathedral has been selected following improvements including the construction of a new main entrance and a new cathedral shop.
Alison Business Centre, situated just off Sheffield Parkway, has been shortlisted in two categories - Design through Innovation and Community Benefit.
The third nominated city project is Yorkshire Water’s ‘Freshwater Fish Directive’ scheme at Blackburn Meadows waste water treatment works in Tinsley. It has been shortlisted in the Infrastructure category following work to improve the conditions of the River Don.
Colin Harrop, chairman of the judging panel, said: “Each shortlisted project is hugely beneficial to their local community and wider areas.”
The awards ceremony will take place in York on May 15.
