You’ve got until 5pm today to be more than just a spectator at the awards event of the year.
The deadline for the Sheffield Business Awards is looming - but it’s certainly not too late.
A website has been set up to make entry as simple as possible at www.sheffieldbusinessawards.org.uk
And although there are 14 categories, each one features just three questions, so set aside an hour maximum, organisers say, and entries can be edited right up to the deadline.
So do a draft now and polish it off later. The return on the time invested could be a win!
A 15th award - oustanding business - is drawn from the four-strong shortlist in each category.
The awards are organised by Sheffield Chamber and The Star newspaper. Winners will be announced at a ceremony on Thursday, December 4, at Ponds Forge International Sports Centre in Sheffield. The awards will be presented by Sky Sports, Eurosport and Channel 4 presenter Charlie Webster
More than 800 guests are expected to pack the room for a night which includes a five-course meal and entertainment by Abandoman, an award-winning improvising hip-hop group led by Rob Broderick which returns after being a smash hit with guests last year.
Kate Stephenson, Sheffield Chamber events manager, said: “It’s so easy. Simply register on the website and answer the questions.
“Entries can be edited and updated right up to the deadline at 5pm.”
Categories include business of the year, young business person, skills, customer service and retail.
