Sheffield based BHP Chartered Accountants has topped the table in the Charity Audit Survey 2014.
The national survey asks charities across the UK to rate their auditors for expertise, service levels and commitment to the voluntary sector.
All BHP clients who responded gave the firm top marks in all three categories, making it the highest-rated firm for client satisfaction in the country.
Jane Marshall, BHP partner and head of charities, said “Our charity and academy specialisms have been developed over many years and we are delighted that our expertise and service levels have been recognised by our clients.
“We are totally committed to this vitally important sector and take great pride in offering specialist advice that can really make a difference to charities.
“It’s not just a year-end exercise.”
