Sheffield 3D print specialist raises £2.5m to grow

A Sheffield 3D print specialist has raised £2.5m to grow.

Additive Manufacturing Technologies will develop its machine, which automatically smooths off 3D printed parts, for a worldwide market.

The firm, which doubled its revenue in 2020, was founded in 2017 by Joseph Crabtree and is based on technology developed at the University of Sheffield

In total, the company has raised £7m. It has partnership with tech giant HP, 80 people at its Sheffield headquarters and a factory in Hungary. The latest money is from NPIF.
