The new president of Sheffield’s Junior Chamber International branch has become a winner before her year has got fully underway.
Kate Senter, who works as internal communications manager at the Sheffield office of leading law firm Irwin Mitchell, has won a national JCI award for the planning and preparation she undertook before her year began. Prior to her year she built links with businesses and community groups and laid the foundations for the launch of the JCI Sheffield Academy – and ambitious plan to support JCI members’ development by creating a framework that records achievements and recognises successes and development throughout the year.
Junior Chamber International specialises in the personal development of business people in their twenties and thirties, through networking, training and social events.
JCI Sheffield has members from across the business community including the legal, financial, manufacturing, creative and digital sectors.
