Irwin Mitchell, Nabarro and DLA Piper share the honours when it comes to dealing with commercial property law in South Yorkshire.

Highlights for the Millsands-based business during the last year included acting for Sheffield Hallam University over the continuing development of its Sheffield city centre campus.

During the last year, the team, led by Niall Logan, advised London-based PHP Clinics on a £14 million deal involving the acquisition of a 50,000 sq ft medical centre.

DLA Piper’s real estate team, headed by Nigel Howard, has a prominent reputation and a growing client base, says the Legal 500.

New clients include Henry Boot, Asda and Knightsbridge Student Housing, who DLA Piper advised on a series of student accommodation acquisitions.
