Young entrepreneurs showcased their business successes after receiving support from a Barnsley College enterprise initiative.
The achievements of current and former college students who have set up their own businesses were highlighted at an event profiling the iTrust scheme.
It was attended by principal Colin Booth and other college staff, along with leading figures from within the business community.
iTrust supports young people through the various stages of setting up a business, from initial idea to fruition.
Graphic design student Bethany Wood has set up an online accessories shop, Loving Dot, selling her hand-designed products.
She said: “I launched Loving Dot in January 2014 and have received great support since the end of last year which I have found really useful.
“I have a business mentor from whom I have received a lot of good advice including how to maximise social media to gain exposure and Loving Dot is now progressing well.”
Sixth former Charlotte Kaye has received assistance in getting £7,000 for her photography business Charlotte Elizabeth Photography since August 2013.
