A South Yorkshire businesswoman’s coffee wholesaling company is going from strength to strength thanks to help from a team of business experts.

Katie Evans, pictured, set up the Dinnington-based Heavenly Coffee Company last year as a wholesaler of speciality coffees and high quality teas, chocolate, biscuits and other products to cafes, coffee shops, hotels and other outlets.

Since then Katie has attracted clients from Newcastle to Grantham, with expert help from the Barnsley and Rotherham Chamber of Commerce Business Community Support Officer Mick Pope.

“The guidance Mick has given us has been wide-ranging and has been a very helpful resource to draw on,” said Katie.

“He has introduced me to a lot of people and even managed to get me a customer, a coffee shop with whom he was also working as part of the BCSO project.

“He put us in contact with each other and I began supplying them.

“We are growing all the time and are finding that we are getting a lot of new business due to referrals and recommendations from existing customers.”
