Public sector deal for LSH

Commercial property consultancy Lambert Smith Hampton has been named one of the companies that will be eligible to provide property service to the public sector over the next four years.

LSH’s head of planning and development in the North, James Ogborn, said: “We currently work with more than 250 public sector bodies and at any one time we have approximately 100 full-time staff working in the sector.

“Our dedicated public sector team help clients use their property portfolios more efficiently, reducing costs and ensuring value for money.”

The deal with the Government is expected to produce savings of £25 million for the public sector and involves providing strategic advice, building surveying, agency, lease advisory, development consultancy, business rates advice, valuation, Compulsory Purchase and planning services, among others.
