Pretty Green: VIP launch party planned for new Meadowhall store with Liam Gallagher connections

A VIP launch party is to be held at a new store set to open at Meadowhall in Sheffield next week.

Men’s fashion brand, Pretty Green – founded by Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher – is opening a new store on Lower High Street, offering men’s clothing, footwear and accessories, including the brand’s limited edition White Label collection which features a range of cord bucket hats and overhead jackets.

As an exclusive opening offer, those shopping at Pretty Green over its launch weekend will receive a 20 per cent discount on full-priced items when spending more than £150.

The new store is hosting a VIP launch party with music from Sheffield’s Reverend & The Makers on Friday, April 8 from 6.30pm – 8.30pm. Shoppers can win a pair of tickets to the exclusive event by entering a competition on Pretty Green’s website here.

Visitors will also be able to enjoy live DJ sets on Saturday, April 9 from Adam Morley (2pm – 4pm) and The Sherlocks (4pm – 6pm).

Pretty Green used to have a store in Meadowhall but it closed when the company was bought by JD Sports in 2019.

Musician Gallagher is no longer connected to the brand, which he formed in 2009 with “an authenticity borne of a deep understanding” of British street culture “and the things that make it relevant today”.

Darren Pearce, centre director at Meadowhall, said: “Pretty Green is the perfect brand for us to welcome back to Meadowhall, and I know it’s going to be very popular. Not only does it offer a unique collection of men’s fashion, the brand’s heritage and incorporation of experiential make it a really exciting proposition.

“It’s one of many openings of the year so far, and we’re all very excited to see the doors open for its launch weekend.”

Tim Kalic, brand director at Pretty Green, said: “It’s great to be opening our doors in Sheffield at Meadowhall again and welcome our customers back in store for the full brand experience.

“This return comes at an exciting time as we’re set to launch a series of new collections over the next few months.”

Pretty Green will be open from 10am-9pm weekdays, 9am-8pm Saturdays and 11am-5pm on Sundays.
