PLUSNET is moving to a new home in the centre of Sheffield in the biggest office let in the city for the last five years.
The broadband company will take 53,000sq ft of grade A office space at The Balance on Pinfold Street, S1, in spring.
Jamie Ford, CEO at Plusnet said it would give them room to grow and cemented the firm’s commitment to Sheffield.
“With such rapid expansion over the last two years this move will enable all business operations, including our customer services, to remain together under one roof.”
The firm employs nearly 700.
Plusnet is refurbishing four floors in the building and will have HSBC and lawyers Hill Dickinson as neighbours.
Currently, it is operating from two sites in the city in Tenter Street and Victoria Quays.
The move is set to be complete by the end of May.
Tim Bottrill, partner at Knight Frank said: “This is the biggest office let within Sheffield for the last five years.
“The Balance provides Plusnet with an excellent, new HQ in the heart of Sheffield.
“The building benefits from air-conditioned offices which include meeting facilities, reception area, 24-hour security, landscaped recreational space, staff restaurant, cafe bar and parking as well
“It also has good bus and tram links.”
