COUNCILLOR Bryan Lodge will officially open a firm’s new Sheffield premises tomorrow.
Microbiological Validation Services was launched in 2003 by mother and daughter Elise Crowther and Emily Rodgers.
Previously based in Maltby, it provides microbiology services to medical device manufacturers and NHS Sterile Service departments. It has relocated to a purpose-built site at Cross Bedford Street.
The new building – named Martin House after company director Martin Crowther – was designed by Peter Noble of city architectural design consultancy Coda Studios.
“We are delighted Coun Lodge has agreed to join us,” said Elise. “He encouraged us through the planning process and it seems fitting he should now open the building.”
