Office finance director named best in Yorkshire

Mark Johnston, from Sheffield-based office supplies group Kingfield Heath, has been named Best Finance Director of a Limited Company, in the Yorkshire Finance Director of the Year Awards.

He received his award from Royal Marine turned marine biologist and TV presenter Monty Halls, at the annual awards ceremony.

It was sponsored by Barclays Bank, Ernst & Young, financial recruitment specialist Sewell Moorhouse, and international law firm Hammonds.

Monty Halls said: "I was really impressed with the high calibre of the candidates.

"What really hit home to me was how Yorkshire's FDs are instrumental in the success stories of their respective businesses."
