The National Metals Technology Centre is joining forces with the Titanium Information Group and Advanced Engineering and Materials Yorkshire to stage a conference on the latest developments in the use of titanium and its alloys.

Key figures from world-leading industrial organisations and academic institutions will cover subjects ranging from titanium alloy development to the cryogenic machining, metal laser sintering and casting of titanium and titanium composites

Dr Alan Partridge, chief executive of NAMTEC, said: “The event will provide a fantastic insight into the latest industry trends and technological developments, which includes the key factors which will influence the future growth and development of the market.

“This is a rare opportunity to meet up with key researchers and those at the forefront of industrial innovation, whose knowledge and experience will contribute to the development of products and processes and in turn to new business opportunities.”

The conference takes place at NAMTEC’s headquarters at Swinden House, in Rotherham on Thursday April 7. For more information, contact Jenny Barratt-Jones, tel: 01709 722477.
