A Yorkshire not for profit entrepreneur mentoring organisation has a new chairman.

Connect Gazelles announced the appointment of Neil Ewin, of EW Business Development, at its quarterly board meeting and thanked Richard Doyle for guiding the organisation through a difficult period to calm waters. When Richard took on the chairmanship in 2009, Connect Yorkshire was part funded by Yorkshire Forward and part by Yorkshire businesses. Since the demise of Yorkshire Forward, Connect Yorkshire has been transformed into the wholly private sector-funded Connect Gazelles, maintaining its core aim of helping Yorkshire companies grow with the support of over 50 of Yorkshire’s most successful entrepreneurs.

Neil joined the Connect Yorkshire board in January 2013. Richard Moran, partner of Clarion, was made a director.
