The Love Local campaign is highlighting the importance of small industry championing firms such as JH Mann Specialist Fishmonger on Sharrow Vale Road.

The brand has been working in collaboration with regional ‘local legends’ across Britain to help drive sales for these companies over Easter, by launching large Colman’s yellow OOH advertisements around towns and cities, which encourage consumers to visit particular suppliers in the local area.

A British Brand through and through, Colman’s is proud of its rich heritage, with local British grown ingredients, and support real home cooking.

That’s why this Easter Colmans is encouraging consumers to shop local where they can and support local economies-because there’s nothing better than the quality taste of home grown produce.

“We were thrilled to be asked to be involved in this brilliant 'Local Legends' campaign with British condiment staple, Colman's - especially after the difficult year JH Mann and many other local businesses have faced following the pandemic. I think the general public has been a huge help to local businesses surviving throughout the pandemic - and with people taking more of an interest in cooking again, I think it’s been brilliant.

"We are surrounded by great independent shops that have worked and are working all together to trade and we truly believe in the “keep it local” saying as it works for us all. The pandemic has actually helped us in realising that there’s definitely a demand for smaller independent shops, so we are opening another branch in Bakewell and we are super excited to be opening our seafood and fish restaurant NATIVE in Sheffield within the coming months. These sites will all be working within the Covid rules of course, and couldn't have been a possibility without local support.” said Christian Szurko, manager at JH Mann Specialist Fishmonger.
