TWO more days of strike action will be staged at bus company Stagecoach’s Barnsley and Dearne Valley depots but managers are pledging a ‘near-normal’ service.
Members of the Unite trade union will walk out on Friday and Saturday.
But Stagecoach has drafted in more than 100 managers and supervisors from across the company to minimise disruption for passengers and keep most services running between 7am and 6pm.
Stagecoach Sheffield services are unaffected by the industrial action and all school services will operate as normal on December 2.
It follows two days of strike action by drivers earlier this month.
Paul Lynch, managing director of Stagecoach Yorkshire said: “Once again, we will be bringing in more than 100 managers and supervisors to keep our services running near normal and ensure any disruption is kept to a minimum for our customers.”
