More good news has been revealed for The Moor – with news the discount chain Poundland is moving to a bigger store.
The company, which already has a shop on The Moor, has decided it needs a bigger unit, although it will remain on the street.
An agreement has been made with Scottish Widows, The Moor’s management company.
Richard Lancaster, Poundland trading director, said: “Poundland has grown significantly over the past 12 months and it’s fantastic to see this expansion continuing with a new store in Sheffield on The Moor.
“We’re looking forward to opening our doors.”
A date has not yet been set for the relocation.
The announcement follows relocation of TJ Hughes to a new store which opened last month, and the launch of the £17 million new Sheffield markets building in November.
