BRANDING guru Steve Edge brings his unique vision of the world of marketing to The Foundry at The University of Sheffield’s Students’ Union on Thursday.

Despite suffering from severe dyslexia as a child, Steve grew up to work on The Muppet Show, Star Wars and Raiders of the Lost Ark before launching his own company, Edge Design.

Now, when he’s not telling Cartier, Dior, and Fortnum & Mason how to communicate better with their audience, the self-styled Lord Shoreditch can be found fishing, filming his Weekly Wisdoms, and being an honorary Eagle Dancer with a North American Indian tribe.

Steve will be joined on stage by Paul French, the former editor of the Sheffield University Students’ Union Forge Press and now a journalist, copywriter and author.

Paul will be chairing the second half of the show and steering the conversation around employability, creativity – and why you should dress for a party every day!

The evening, open to the public, is part of the autumn season of Flash events at The University of Sheffield Students’ Union and begins at The Foundry at 7.30pm.

Tickets cost £5 or £4 for concessions.
