Law firm Irwin Mitchell has unveiled plans to transform its IT infrastructure to support domestic and global growth plans, improve services to clients and boost productivity.

The Sheffield-based firm has awarded a contract to managed services provider Esteem Systems which will create a robust IT infrastructure that can be expanded as the company grows.

Irwin Mitchell’s IT director, Tim Kiel, said the firm’s £1.7 million IT infrastructure investment, due to be completed by May, would significantly improve employees’ IT experience, enable Irwin Mitchell to deliver an even better service to clients and support global growth plans.

Esteem’s Alastair Kitching added: “We’re working with a number of the UK’s leading legal organisations, and providing employees with rapid access to the applications and data they need from anywhere, on any device, is essential for them all in order to drive productivity and business growth.”
